In March of 2001, 11-year-old Bethany Markowski went on only her second unsupervised visit with her father, Larry, and was never seen again.

In July 2002 Evelyn Hernandez's partial remains were found floating in the San Francisco Bay clad in a maternity top. Her sons are missing.
