While the majority of missing children cases involve a single child, there are rare instances where two or more children disappear together.
In Canada there are nine cases of children aged 17 and under, where two or more children disappeared together and remain missing. The oldest case is from October of 1954 in Vedun, Quebec, and the most recent case is from May of 2025 in Lansdowne, Nova Scotia.
Ronald, Doreen, Russell, and Ryan Jack
Prince George, British Columbia

On August 2, 1989, Ronald Jack spoke with his mother and told her that he, his wife Doreen, and their two young sons, Russell and Ryan, were leaving for a temporary “camp job” and expected to return within 10 days to two weeks.
The day before, Ronald had been seen at a local pub with an unidentified man who had reportedly offered the couple employment at a remote logging camp or ranch.
The family packed belongings but appeared to intend to return home. They were last known to be in the Bednesti–Cluculz Lake area.
None of the family members have been seen or heard from since. Their disappearance remains unsolved, and foul play is suspected.

At approximately 1:48 a.m., surveillance footage captured three of the boys entering the marina at Frenchman’s Bay. The remaining three were not visible on the footage, though investigators believe all six were together.
Police believe that all six of the boys stole a 14-foot Boston Whaler replica and a water tricycle and took them onto Lake Ontario, where they are believed to have died after the vessel capsized in the cold water.
